Crafting Confidence:
The Art & Body Positivity Program
For Girls Ages 9–12
6-week evening program | Tuesday February 3 — March 10, 2026, 6:30–8:00 pm | Counselling & Behaviour Clinic, Toronto
Creativity with Purpose
Art has the power to transform how young people see themselves and the world around them. The Art & Body Positivity Program is more than an art class — it’s a movement to help girls build confidence, community, and a healthier relationship with themselves through creativity and education.
Each week, participants explore different forms of artistic expression — painting, collage, sculpture, and group projects — while reflecting on identity, friendship, resilience, and self-image. By the end of the program, every participant has not only a body of artwork to share but also stronger tools for navigating life with confidence.
Program Highlights
🎨 Hands-On Creativity: Every class focuses on making art — from self-portraits to collaborative murals.
🌱 Confidence Through Creation: Art projects are paired with guided reflection to help translate creativity into self-esteem.
💬 Community & Connection: Small group format (6–10 girls) fosters friendships and peer support.
🌟 Showcase Finale: Families are invited to a final celebration where participants present their work and share their growth.
