ABOUT US

Real help for real problems.

Counselling & Behaviour Services was founded in 2019 to make mental health care more inclusive and accessible. Rooted in Toronto’s disability community, we saw how traditional systems often left behind those with communication, cognitive, or sensory challenges.

Our approach bridges psychotherapy with behavioural supports, offering care that is adaptable, evidence-based, and never one-size-fits-all. We specialize in working with individuals and families navigating anxiety, neurodivergence, and disability, alongside more general mental health concerns.

Today, Counselling & Behaviour Services has grown into a trusted resource across Ontario. We partner with hospitals, school boards, and community agencies—often providing support where other services don’t know where to turn. Our vision remains clear: therapy that is accessible, action-oriented, and tailored to the unique needs of every client.

OUR MISSION

At Counselling & Behaviour Services, our mission is to make high-quality mental health care more accessible, inclusive, and impactful—especially for individuals and families who have historically been underserved by traditional models of therapy. Real help for real problems.

We operate at the unique intersection of psychotherapy and disability, grounded in the belief that mental health care must be as diverse and multifaceted as the people it serves. Our clinicians bring deep expertise in both behavioural and talk therapies, allowing us to support neurodivergent clients, individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities and their families, with compassion and clinical skill.

We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether it’s adapting therapy tools to meet a client’s communication style, offering flexible scheduling for busy caregivers, or providing a space that welcomes all identities and abilities—our work is rooted in respect, responsiveness, and genuine partnership.

Because everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported. Not just in therapy—but in every part of life.
