Ronnie Olebaum
Ronnie Olebaum (She/Her) is a Master of Social Work student at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work. She brings experience supporting teens and adults with disabilities, having facilitated social and recreational programs, offered psychoeducation, and helped create spaces where people feel connected, included, and understood.
Ronnie has also worked in early childhood education as an assistant in a preschool daycare, nurturing young children through play, emotional learning, and relationship-building. During her time at McGill University, she volunteered with a student-run helpline, offering compassionate, non-judgmental support to peers reaching out during difficult moments.
She holds certifications in mandated reporting, person-centred care, opioid overdose prevention, and addiction recovery support. Ronnie is passionate about accessibility, community care, and advocacy, with a particular interest in addiction recovery work.
Her approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. Ronnie aims to meet clients exactly where they are, focusing on fostering empowerment, connection, and meaningful growth throughout the therapeutic process.
