Tamara Schwartz
Social Worker, Psychotherapist, Workshops Director (She/Her)
She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT) and incorporates strategies from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to tailor support to each client’s needs.
Tamara holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Toronto, a Master’s in Developmental Psychology and Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), and a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor.
Tamara’s work is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that healing happens in safe, affirming relationships.
Tamara Schwartz, BSc, MEd, MSW, RSW, has extensive experience in children’s mental health and a specialized focus on trauma-informed care. She is passionate about supporting youth and young adults—particularly those navigating the complex intersections of trauma, mental health, and substance use—while fostering safety, connection, and long-term resilience.
Tamara has a particular interest in working with survivors of family and gender-based violence. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in anti-oppressive principles and draws from several evidence-informed modalities.
