Fees & Insurance

OAP Funding

We are a team of Ontario Autism Program (OAP) core clinical service providers under the mental health pillar. Many of our services are OAP-approved and offered on a fee-for-service basis, which means less out-of-pocket expenses for OAP-approved families.

Passport Funding

You can claim up to $2,500 of services billed under Person-Directed Planning (PDP) through Developmental Services Ontario’s Passport program if you are enrolled .

Session Fee
Our standard fee for psychotherapy sessions is $275 per session.

Insurance & Reimbursement
Counselling & Behaviour Services does not directly bill insurance providers. Clients are responsible for submitting their own claims for reimbursement.

After each session, you will receive a detailed receipt. This receipt includes your practitioner’s registration number, which most insurance providers require for reimbursement.

To submit a claim:

  1. Log in to your insurance provider’s portal or app.

  2. Upload your receipt.

  3. Submit the claim under the category Social Worker.

Coverage varies by plan. We recommend confirming in advance that your plan includes coverage for Registered Social Worker (RSW) services.

Reduced Session Rates
In some circumstances, we are able to offer reduced session rates. If cost is a concern, please discuss your situation during the initial consultation and we will do our best to explore available options.
