Sharon (Tzivie) Hirschman

BA, MSW Practicum Student (She/Her)

Sharon (Tzivie) Hirschman, BA is an MSW placement student at Counselling & Behaviour, currently completing her Master of Social Work at Daemen University in Buffalo, New York. She holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Woodmont College.

Sharon brings experience supporting individuals and families through difficult and emotionally complex circumstances. She has training as an emotional doula supporting women and families experiencing pregnancy loss and stillbirth, and has been involved in peer support for women experiencing postpartum depression.

She also trained through Bikur Cholim of Toronto and Toronto General Hospital and spent more than five years volunteering with hospitalized patients and their families.

Sharon takes a compassionate, and individualized approach to her work. She believes in meeting people where they are, taking the time to understand their experiences, and helping them feel supported as they work through challenges and change.

Outside of her work, Sharon enjoys travelling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
